31 DECEMBER 2024 – Creating a great racing tire requires more than just engineering and calculations. Every compound must be pushed to its limits, accumulating miles of testing under different conditions and circuits. At MTS, we are honored to be the company chosen by Goodyear Racing to manage the tire service for each and every one of its development tests throughout the year.

A High-Demanding Job

Each test entails a complex logistical operation that requires the movement of specialized machinery, qualified personnel and support vehicles. Our team is in charge for the complete tire management: from reception and assembly to disassembly and support for post-test analysis. In this environment, every detail counts and there is no margin for error.

Top circuits such as Montmeló have been the setting to some of these test sessions, where work in the boxes is as crucial as on-track performance.

Guaranteed performance

Images speak for themselves: stacks of tires ready to be mounted, precision machinery in action and our team working with total focus. All of this reflects the level of commitment we put into our work, ensuring that teams and drivers have the best possible conditions to evaluate compounds.

For compound it is meant the mixture of materials that make up the tire tread. It involves a combination of different types of rubber, polymers and other additives designed to deliver performance, grip and durability in different racing conditions.

Our team has once again proven that it is up to the most demanding challenges. Thanks to their effort and professionalism, the results have been impeccable, contributing to the development of tires that will compete on the world’s most demanding circuits.

MTS and Goodyear Racing: A Trusted Alliance

Goodyear Racing develops and tests multiple compounds to optimize tire performance based on factors such as:

  • Grip in wet or dry conditions.
  • Wear resistance over long distances.
  • Performance in different temperatures and surfaces.
  • Cornering response and stability at high speeds.

During development tests, different compound formulations are tested on real circuits to evaluate their performance and refine their development before being used in competition.

Being part of these development tests reinforces our commitment to precision, performance and technical excellence.

We keep adding miles, effort and dedication making every tire count!
